DO WE NEED SIM CARDS FOR THE TAGS?+
No. AssetIQ tags use LoRaWAN, BLE, or WiFi positioning — none require SIM cards or cellular contracts. For over-the-road tracking we offer NB-IoT, Cat-M, LTE, 3G, and 2G variants, but indoor/yard tracking is all license-free wireless.
WHAT'S THE ECONOMICS PER TAG?+
BLE tags: $5 per tag at scale, 3-year battery. Passive UHF RFID: $1–5 per tag at volume, no battery. Heavy-duty GPS+BLE trackers: ~$80–150 for 5-year battery + ATEX. Pick the tier based on asset value — you don't put a $150 tracker on a $30 wrench.

Yes. IoTLogIQ middleware sits between AssetIQ sensors and your enterprise system (SAP, Oracle, SCADA, WMS). Data integrity guaranteed end-to-end. Common integrations: SAP MM, Oracle Inventory, NetSuite, Coupa.
HOW DOES IT HANDLE OFFLINE / OFFSHORE?+
BLE tags store last-seen events locally. When the tag re-enters range of any gateway (e.g., when a vessel returns to port or a tool comes back from offshore), the buffered history sync's up. No data lost during offline periods.
ATEX RATING FOR HAZARDOUS AREAS?+
Yes — ATEX Zone 0, 1, and 2 variants available depending on tag type. Refineries, offshore platforms, fuel storage, ammunition handling. We deploy in all of these environments.
